User Modeling and User-Adapted Interaction (UMUAI)

UMUAI provides an interdisciplinary forum for the dissemination of new research results on interactive computer systems that can be adapted or adapt themselves to their current users, and on the usage of user models for adaptation purposes.
This journal is planning a special issue on "User Modeling and Intelligent Agents". The deadline for submissions is July 30, 2000. See http://umuai.informatik.uni-essen.de for details.

International Journal of Human-Computer Studies

The International Journal of Human-Computer Studies is a scholarly journal published monthly by Academic Press. It encompasses a wide range of topics relating to computers and people, including intelligent user interfaces, ..., knowledge-based systems, hypertext and hypermedia, user modeling, ... (see the complete list of topics on the journal home page).

Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Education (IJAIED)

IJAIED serves as an international forum and essential source to report the research, developments, integration, and applications of intelligent computer technologies in education. IJAIE publishes articles that advance knowledge and theory in both education and artificial intelligence.

The Journal of the Learning Sciences

The Journal of the Learning Sciences is a cognitive science journal that provides a multidisciplinary forum for the presentation and discussion of research on teaching and learning. Emphasis is placed on important ideas that can change our understanding of learning as well as the practice of education. Articles will evolve from disciplines such as artificial intelligence, cognitive science, cognitive and educational psychology, cognitive anthropology, education, and educational technology.

Intelligent Tutoring Media

Intelligent Tutoring Media publishes first-rate articles concerned with the packaging and communication of knowledge using advanced information technologies. Articles in the journal study the impact of artificial intelligence, hypertext, interactive video, mass storage devices and telecommunication networks. This journal aims to provide a leading forum for publication of the results of national and international collaboration.

Journal of Educational Multimedia and Hypermedia (JEMH)

JEMH is designed to provide a multi-disciplinary forum to present and discuss research, development and applications of multimedia and hypermedia in education. The main goal of the Journal is to contribute to the advancement of the theory and practice of learning and teaching using these powerful and promising technological tools that allow the integration of images, sound, text, and data.
