This is an evaluation which will be looking into the use of adaptive hypermedia in education. Adpation within a multimedia application (can take many forms) refers to the changing of links or content within the same application to different users ie users who are novice at using computers and the lecture content will have more help and more links to definitions etc whereas experts on computers and the content will be able to use all the system functions and will not have as many highlighted links to definitions (as it is assumed they already know them).
