Welcome to the personal English teacher TEACHER's SITE!

This site is for teachers only. Thank you for accepting to contribute to the courseware design of the 'My English Teacher' environment!

We remind you that our courseware is dedicated especially to users of English in their academic life. Therefore, please be careful to design your courses according to this goal. Please introduce situational examples of academic life presented as Multimedia, with Audio and Video presentations, Text explanations and pointers to the main patterns introduced with each lesson, exercises for testing the students' understanding, moreover, please introduce patterns of correction, explanation and guidance for the students' mistakes.
Our policy is that Academic English is International English: as distancies grew smaller and the Internet linked more and more remote parts of the world, English gradually became the lingua franca for information exchange. Especially in the academic field, in research and development, where international cooperation is a must, English is used frequently. Therefore, although we admire the original British accent, one has to be able to understand a multitude of accents from all around the world to be able to function in now-a-days society. However, although accents are more or less variable, the spoken, but mostly, the written academic language has still its rules and etiquette. These are the ones we are trying to teach through this course.
Does that seem to be a lot? Don't worry, our system will guide you step by step in the designing process!
The course is called 'your personal English teacher', because it will adapt to the needs and preferences of the student. We are in the process of adding more AI-based intelligent adaptation capabilities. Thank you for helping us in this project!
