At Philips research is conducted into developing decision support for cancer treatment. The decision support is aimed at clinicians who need help in following a diagnostic and treatment protocol. That protocol is described in a document (text, tables, figures) from which a formal process needs to be extracted. Details are available from Aisan Maghsoodi who is doing her PhD on this topic (and is frequently present in the IS group).
This research is partly done at Philips Research (on the high-tech campus) and involves an intern-contract with Philips.
