Adaptation for Activist / Reflector
Notes:
From the Honey and Mumford classification we can translate the activist and reflector styles into adaptation by first classifying the learning material. An activist wants to perform activities first, perhaps also see some examples, and turn to the theory later. The reflector wants to see examples, analyse them and then develop a theory. If learning material is labeled as being an activity, and example, a theory or explanation or an exercise we can create rules that will guide the learner towards the learning material in the order that best suits the learner’s needs.
