Notes:

Interbook has been evaluated to find out what the value is of using adaptive annotation.
An electronic textbook about ClarisWorks was given to 25 undergraduate teacher education students.
The students were split into two groups: one was given a version with adaptive annotation,
the other a non-adaptive version.
The students were asked to explore the textbook and then their knowledge was tested.
All the students’ actions were logged.
The results first of all show that students more often than not use the “continue” button,
which leads them through the material in a sequential and non-adaptive way.
In the cases where links were followed the adaptive annotation was found to be followed:
most students tend to follow the “green” links.
